Mini Big Top

What really sets Flotsam’s Circus apart is our mini big top; 7 metres in diameter, 4.5 metres high and made of heavy duty canvas - it’s the real thing and regularly draws gasps of excitement from old and young alike. It makes a huge impact on any site but is small enough to fit into most events and can be erected and dismantled on the same day, by the same instructors that run the workshops - no additional days or staff required.

Our full set-up includes the Mini Big Top and an outdoor arena, which will fit into a minimum area of 15m x 15m. However we can fill much more and if you anticipate a large number of people at your event you should consider a larger space as the number of people who can safely play with us is mostly limited by the space we have available.

Set up and break down each take approximately 1 hour, making the whole set up suitable for single day events such as school fairs, summer fetes and dog shows. We usually run a program of one day events during the summer with weekly visits to local tourist attractions.

The Mini Big Top is a real tent (not a gazebo or similar free standing structure) and as such requires a reasonably flat grassy area to put it up on. Once erected it is a sturdy structure suitable to be left in place for multi day events such as music festivals, or longer stays at venues for special events.
